About Me

I'm Shingi, creator of all you see on this fine website. I'm a 22 year old illustrator with an Honours Degree in Media Studies. I have also taken various illustration and writing based Continuing Studies courses at Emily Carr University of Art and Design and will soon be taking a 2D Character Animation Program at VanArts. Although illustrating, and writing, comic strips is my first love, I do have a great interest in other forms of illustration including character designs, children's book illustrations, portraits and animation.

My comic strip "I Hate Pigeons" appeared in the Wits University newspaper and I have self-published my own comic book series entitled "Shingiville" and have dabbled in writing and illustrating my own chlidren's book.
